Panda Volunteer

A special opportunity to volunteer in the Panda Base, fo Sichuan. Sichuan is a landlocked province in Southwest China occupying most of the Sichuan Basin and the easternmost part of the Tibetan Plateau. Sichuan's capital city is Chengdu.

The giant panda lives in a few mountain ranges in central China, mainly in Sichuan, but also in neighbouring Shaanxi and Gansu. As a result of farming, deforestation, and other development, the giant panda has been driven out of the lowland areas where it once lived, and it is a conservation-reliant vulnerable species.

During the volunteering, we will make the Panda’s cakes, clean the enclosures, and feed them the cakes.
