Wolong Hetaoping Panda Base, as a part of the Wolong Giant Panda Nature Reserve, located at the southwest of Wenchuan County.

It is the earliest base for giant panda breeding, which first constructed in 1980s. Before the devastating 2008 Wenchuan earthquake, Wolong got up to 200,000 visitors every year.

Red Panda Volunteer Program
The volunteers will clean and prepare the food for the red pandas. Red pandas eat mostly bamboo, apples and panda cakes.

- A current valid passport is required on the day of travel
*The panda experience program required these:
a. A negative COVID-19 test result within 7 days
b. Flu test (done by nasal test or blood withdrawal)
*The green health code is required
