Bell Tower (Zhong Lou) & Drum Tower (Gu Lou)
The iconic landmarks of Xi'an, have stood in the city center for over 600 years. Originally used for telling time, these towers now adorn the city's skyline with their magnificent painted beams and delicate wooden structures. They hold the title of being the largest Bell and Drum Towers in all of China, bearing witness to the city's history and the major transformations.
Ascending to the peak of Drum Tower offers panoramic views of the Muslim Quarter, as well as a demonstration of traditional Bell and Drum performances and a display of antique furniture from the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Muslim market (Hui Min Jie)
Upon completion of the Drum Tower tour, it is now time to discover the various Muslim delicacies available on the bustling streets: big piles of limb skewers, yellow color sticky rice, beef burger and so on.
Xi'an City Wall (Cheng Qiang)
This 8.5 miles (14 kilometers) wall, which has stood for over 640 years, is the most well-preserved and largest city wall in China. It offers visitors an unparalleled opportunity to witness ancient Xi'an and appreciate the ingenuity of its working people. Biking along the entire wall is the main attraction for many tourists, as it provides a panoramic view of the city's rich history and vibrant present.
Yong Xing Fang
This is a foodie square with hundreds of restaurants, which is a perfect place for you to enjoy a variety of local Shaanxi styled delicacies.
Da Ci’en Temple
The Temple is one of China's most well-known Buddhist temples, lies at South Yanta Road, just 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) from Xi'an's city center. Its famous landmark, the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, stands at 64.5 meters (211 feet) tall and houses precious Buddhist relics from India. From the top, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Xi'an.
