5-day Panda and Jiuzhaigou Tour

Day 1 Chengdu - Wolong - Songpan  2hrs+5hrs drive (L)
Panda volunteer program 
At 6:40 your guide meet you at the hotel lobby and drive to Wolong.  In the morning, you can studying giant panda feces or learning about enrichment for pandas, and prepare Wowotou for them. After having the buffet lunch at the base at noon, the guide will say goodbye to you and return to Chengdu. You will head to Songpan with the escort of our helpful and caring driver.

*Starting from April 25, 2024, panda volunteers will not be allowed to enter the panda enclosure, and the arrangement of clean the panda enclosures & collect panda poop will be canceled.

Overnight at Songpan 56 Rooms Hotel

Day 2 Songpan - Huanglong - Jiuzhaigou 1hr+1.5hrs drive
Visit Huanglong Nature Reserve
To save you time and energy, we will arrange a cable car to the valley top, and then walk down the valley to enjoy the fantastic scenery all around you. Have a picnic lunch. 

Overnight at Holiday Inn Express Jiuzhai  

Day 3 Jiuzhaigou - Songpan 2hrs drive
Visit Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve
Full-day visit Jiuzhaigou and you can take a shuttle bus tour around. Have a picnic lunch in the picturesque valley. Around 16:00, the driver meet you at the entrance gate and drive back to Songpan.

Day 4 Songpan - Chengdu Panda Base 5hrs drive
Visit Chengdu Panda Base
At 7:00, meet you at the hotel lobby and drive back to Chengdu. From 14:00 to 18:00, you can leisurely visit this base. In May, you can have a chance to see the newborn babies.

*According to the regulations of the panda base, all private vehicles are not allowed to park at the entrance of the panda base. Visitors are requested to get off at the parking lot and walk about 10 minutes to the entrance gate.

Overnight in Wenjun Courtyard Hotel (Kuanzhai Branch)

Day 5 Chengdu - Ya’an - Chengdu 2hrs +2 hrs drive
Visit Bifengxia Panda Base
At 7:00, meet you at the hotel lobby and drive to Ya’an Panda Base. This panda base covers an area of more than 400 hectares, a beautiful environment, and a suitable climate, each giant panda has sufficient space for activities. There are not only panda kindergartens here but also many overseas returnee stars, such as Japanese returnee panda Xiang Xiang and American returnee panda Bei Bei.Full-day exploration in this base.
17:00 return to Chengdu Jinli. The tour ends and say goodbye to your driver.

Notes:

1. As this is a private tour, you can decide whether to spend more or less time in the scenic areas according to your interests. The schedule is flexible and only for your reference.
2. The average temperature was 15℃~ 29℃ in Chengdu in mid-May and 6℃ ~ 28℃ in Jiuzhaigou this year. Please prepare the clothes properly, outdoor shoes, sunscreen, and sun hat;
3. The driver will not enter the scenic spot;
4. The driver can recommend restaurants, and order food for you. If there's a food taboo, please let us know;
5. We need to collect all travelers’ information (full name, passport number, birth date, nationality and gender)
