1. I have a different number of travelers than what the page suggests. Does the tour need a minimum group size to operate?
We offer full customization services. All itineraries can be redesigned to fit your group size, travel dates, and preferences. There is no need to wait for other travelers to join. Solo travelers, couples, families, and private groups are all welcome.

2. Where do your travel services cover?
We cover all provinces of mainland China, from eastern water towns to western Xinjiang and Tibet, from northern Harbin to southern Guilin. We also arrange customized tours to New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Mongolia, and Russia. For other destinations, please consult us.

3. What exactly is included in your tour packages?
Our packages include itinerary design, hotel accommodation, private transportation, an English‑speaking guide, attraction tickets, and show bookings. Flights and meals (lunch/dinner) are generally not included, giving you flexibility. We can assist with booking flights and meals upon request.

4. What kind of vehicles do you use for private transfers?
We use 5‑, 7‑, 9‑, 12‑, and 18‑seater vehicles depending on the province and road conditions. For groups of 20+, mid‑sized or full‑sized tour buses are also available. All vehicles are licensed, air‑conditioned, and well‑maintained for safety and comfort.

5. How should I pay for the tour, and through which method?
We accept bank wire transfers, online payments via Visa/MasterCard through PayPal, Alipay, and WeChat Pay. A deposit (usually 40%) is required to confirm your booking, with the balance due 10 days before departure. Detailed payment instructions will be provided with your quotation.

6. What kind of tourist visa do I need for China, and can you assist with it?
Most travelers need an L (Tourist) visa, which requires a passport valid for six months, a photo, and supporting documents like hotel bookings. We can provide the invitation letter and itinerary for your visa application. Citizens of certain countries may enjoy visa‑free entry for up to 30 days, please check the latest policies.

7. Will I be able to access the internet and use apps like Google, Facebook, WhatsApp or Instagram while traveling in China?
Western services like Google, Facebook, and WhatsApp are blocked without a VPN. We strongly recommend installing a reliable VPN before you arrive. Local apps like WeChat, Alipay, and Amaps work normally. A travel eSIM that routes data through Hong Kong is another option.

8. I don’t speak or read any Chinese. Will language be a major problem during the trip?
Your English‑speaking guide will accompany you daily, assisting to handle check‑in, ordering, and tickets. For independent time, use translation apps like Google Translate (download offline packs). Major attractions and transport hubs have English signage, and many young people in cities speak basic English.

9. How do I pay for things like meals, snacks, taxis, and souvenirs? Do I need to carry a lot of cash?
Alipay and WeChat Pay are used everywhere, simply link your Visa/MasterCard before the trip. Cash is legally accepted but smaller vendors may lack change, so use it only as a backup. ATMs and currency exchanges are available if you prefer cash.

10. I have heard that public toilets in China are sometimes different from what I am used to. What should I expect and how should I prepare?
Squat toilets are common in public places; they are hygienic because there is no skin contact. Always carry your own toilet paper, tissues, and hand sanitizer, as supplies are rarely provided. Please do not flush paper in older plumbing, instead use the waste bin. Modern Western‑style toilets are available in hotels, malls, and airports.

11. I have dietary restrictions or specific food preferences. Can I find suitable meals during the tour?
Because meals are not included, you are free to choose restaurants that suit your diet. Your guide can recommend places that offer vegetarian, vegan, halal, or gluten‑free options and will help communicate with staff. Hotel breakfasts typically have both Western and Chinese choices. Please inform us of dietary restrictions in advance for better arrangements.

12. Is it safe for me to travel in China, especially as a solo or female traveler?
China is one of the safest destinations in the world, with very low violent and street crime rates. Solo and female travelers generally feel secure, even in busy evening markets. Still, take normal precautions: keep valuables safe, avoid deserted areas late at night. We provide a 24‑hour emergency contact number.

13. I would like to visit Tibet. Can your agency arrange that? What special permits are required?
Yes, we can arrange guided tours to Tibet. Foreign travelers must obtain a Tibet Travel Permit, which only a registered travel agency can apply for. Book at least 40‑60 days in advance. Independent travel in Tibet is not permitted, so a guided tour is mandatory.

14. My flight arrives late at night or departs very early in the morning. Can you arrange airport transfers at odd hours?
Yes, we arrange private airport transfers 24/7, including late nights and early mornings. Your driver (or driver+guide) will meet you at arrivals even if your flight is delayed. For early departures, we schedule the pickup to ensure plenty of check‑in time. No surcharge applies for odd‑hour pickups.

15. What is your cancellation and refund policy if I need to change or cancel my tour?
Cancellation fees depend on notice:

1. Cancellation made less than 48 hours before departure is non-refundable.

2. Cancellation made less than 5 days before departure will charge 50% of full payment.

3. Cancellation made more than 1 week before departure will offer full refund.

Non‑refundable costs (e.g., flights, hotels) may apply separately, please contact your personal MPT travel consultant for details. Refunds are processed within 20 days after cancellation.
