Itinerary

Day 1 Chengdu Arrival
Upon your arrival at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, we will greet you and provide a private transfer to your downtown hotel. The remainder of the day is free for you to rest or explore the surrounding area at your own pace. We recommend a gentle stroll along the nearby streets to get a feel for the city's relaxed rhythm.

Day 2 Chengdu – Mount Qingcheng – Dujiangyan (1.5 hours drive)
We are going to visit Mount Qingcheng, a sacred Taoist mountain and UNESCO World Heritage site. We will take a round trip cable car to explore the front mountain, with its ancient temples and tranquil forests. In the afternoon, we will proceed to Dujiangyan, an ingenious irrigation system built over 2,000 years ago that still functions today. You will marvel at the fish mouth water diversion structure and the Flying Sand Weir.

Day 3 Dujiangyan – Songpan Ancient Town (5 hours drive)
After breakfast, we will depart for Songpan, a historic town on the ancient Tea Horse Road. We are going to walk along the well preserved Ming Dynasty city walls, visit the statues of Princess Wencheng and Songtsen Gampo, and climb the West Gate Tower for a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The town has a charming alpine atmosphere. Overnight in Songpan.

Day 4 Songpan – Huanglong – Jiuzhaigou (4–4.5 hours drive)
Today we will visit Huanglong Scenic Area, famous for its colourful travertine pools and snow capped peaks. A round trip cable car is included to reduce walking. We are going to follow the boardwalk to view the Five Color Pond, Golden Sand Beach, and the ancient temple. After the tour, we will drive to Jiuzhaigou Valley and check into our hotel near the scenic area entrance. The mountain scenery en route is breathtaking.

Day 5 Full day Tour of Jiuzhaigou
We will spend the entire day inside Jiuzhaigou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its turquoise lakes and multi level waterfalls. A sightseeing bus will transport you between the three main valleys, Shuzheng, Rize, and Zechawa. You will see Five Flower Lake, Mirror Lake, and the magnificent Nuorilang Waterfall. The crystal clear waters and pristine forests create a fairy tale landscape. Take your time to soak in the beauty and capture unforgettable photos.

Day 6 Jiuzhaigou – Chengdu (4 hours drive)
After breakfast, we will drive back to Chengdu, enjoying the transition from alpine forests to the fertile plains of the Sichuan basin. The journey takes approximately 4 hours. Upon arrival in the city, the evening is free for you to explore Chunxi Road, visit a local hotpot restaurant, or simply relax.

Day 7 Full day Tour of Chengdu City
We are going to explore Chengdu's cultural highlights. In the morning, we will visit the Chengdu Panda Base to observe giant pandas in their naturalistic enclosures. Afterwards, we will stroll through Kuanzhai Alley, a well preserved Qing era neighbourhood with traditional courtyards, teahouses, and artisan shops. You may also visit Jinli Street for local snacks and souvenirs. In the afternoon, we can relax at a historic teahouse and experience Chengdu's famous tea culture.

Day 8 Chengdu Departure
We will transfer you to airport or railway station according to your departure schedule. We bid you farewell and wish you a pleasant journey to the next destination or back home.
