Itinerary

Day 1 Tianmen Mountain National Park (Route B)
We will start our adventure with Tianmen Mountain, taking the world's longest cable car to the summit. Route B offers a thrilling experience: we are going to walk along the glass bottomed skywalk, traverse the cliff hanging plank road, and then descend the iconic 999 step staircase to Tianmen Cave, a massive natural arch in the limestone cliff. After exploring the temple at the summit, we will take the cable car back down.

Day 2 Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (South Gate to East Gate)
We will enter through the South Gate and hike along the scenic Jinbian Stream, surrounded by towering quartz sandstone pillars. We are going to ride the Bailong Elevator up to Yuanjiajie, where you will see the famous "Hallelujah Mountain" that inspired the floating peaks in Avatar. The First Bridge under Heaven offers a spectacular view of the abyss below. After a full day of exploration, we will exit through the East Gate.

Day 3 Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (East Gate Loop)
We will re enter the park via the East Gate for a loop tour. We are going to take the cable car up to Tianzi Mountain, where you will admire the spectacular "Monarch's Brush" peaks and enjoy panoramic views from the "Sea of Clouds" observation deck. Then we will explore Yangjiajie, with its rugged terrain and the natural Great Wall formation, a series of sheer rock walls stretching across the ridge. The loop route brings us back to the East Gate.

Day 4 Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon (Glass Bridge, Route A) – Fenghuang Ancient Town
In the morning, we will visit Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. Route A includes crossing the famous glass bridge-a transparent walkway suspended 300 metres above the canyon floor. We are going to descend via a winding stone path and then enjoy a scenic boat ride through the serene lake at the bottom. After lunch, we will drive to Fenghuang Ancient Town (approx. 3 hours). Upon arrival, you are free to stroll along the Tuo River and admire the illuminated stilt houses at night.

Day 5 Fenghuang Ancient Town – Furong Town – Zhangjiajie
We will spend the morning exploring Fenghuang's old streets, ancient bridges, and the former residence of writer Shen Congwen. Then we are going to drive to Furong Town, a thousand year old settlement perched on a dramatic waterfall, a truly unique sight. After walking through its cobblestone alleys and viewing the cascading water, we will return to Zhangjiajie city (approx. 2 hours). The evening is free for last minute shopping or local dining.

Day 6 Departure Day
We will transfer you to Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport or railway station according to your flight or train schedule and bid you farewell. We wish you a pleasant journey to the next destination or back home.
